Based on a series of novels created by Tom Clancy with John Krasinski playing the titular character of Jack Ryan. Rather than following the plot of the novels, the showrunners decided to tell an original story to make it more relevant to the geopolitical issues of the time while preserving the essence of Jack Ryan.

Jack Ryan consists of:

  • Season 1 (8 episodes) follows Jack Ryan as he pursues a rising Islamic extremist named Suleiman.

  • Season 2 (8 episodes) follows Jack Ryan in the middle of political warfare in a corrupt Venezuela.

  • Season 3 (8 episodes) follows Jack Ryan as he investigates a plot known as Sokol to re-create the former Soviet Union; based on a board game called “Seven Days to the River Rhine”.

  • Season 4 (6 episodes) follows Jack Ryan as he uncovers internal corruption in United States, Myanmar, and Mexico.

Jack Ryan premiered on Amazon Prime Video.
