Arrested Development is the story of “a wealthy family (the Bluths) who lost everything, and the one son who had no choice but to keep them all together”.

It is regarded as an incredible Rube Goldberg contraption of a sitcom presented in a serialized format, incorporating handheld camera work, voice-over narration, archival photos, historical footage, and maintaining numerous running gags and catchphrases.

Arrested Development consists of 5 seasons:

  • 3 season original run which aired on Fox prior to being canceled (2003-2006)

  • 2 seasons after series was revived by Netflix (2013-2019)

  • Season 4’s original release was 15 episodes however Mitch Hurwitz created a recut of 22 episodes called “Arrested Development: Fateful Consequences” in which the season’s story is presented in chronological order with additional footage.
